Role: Finance Assistant

Reporting to: Finance Business Partner

Location: This is remote-first position, with a mix of attending events, customer travel, as well as limited company and head office gatherings.

Your responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Finance Business Partner, the successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the finance function and contributing to the seamless operation of key processes as the business scales.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual keen to develop their finance career within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

The role

• Credit Control

• Customer order processing and Invoicing

• Customer Onboarding and Documentation Review

• Customer relationship management

• Supplier and Installer Onboarding control

• Installer Invoice processing and finance support

• Process and Procedure improvement related to role

• Finance system support and control.

• Assisting in the Reconciliation of orders, to dispatches and Invoices

• Support the Operations team in managing the returns and warranty process

• General compliance and finance administration

• Other duties that may arise as we scale

• Experience in a similar role, or strong transferable skill set

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.

• Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Ability to handle multiple priorities to meet demanding deadlines.

• Experience in a high growth scale up would be favourable

• AAT qualified or a desire to study for an accounting qualification is preferred
