Antenatal care
Our hybrid and remote working policy allows our employees to not be limited to the amount of time needed for their or their partner's antenatal care. As long as our employees submit documentation from their doctor, midwife, or healthcare provider, Switchee is on board with ensuring that partners and babies are being well looked after.
Creating more time for our employees to care for their children means we are living our values of being trusted, mindful, enabled, compassionate, and truth-seeking.
Premature Births
Switchee extend leave for parents and partners who have a premature baby (before 37 weeks’ gestation) by the number of days a baby is born prior to their due date. This extended leave will be at full pay.
We also support parents returning to work following the birth of a premature baby. Babies born too soon can have ongoing medical needs, requiring regular hospital appointments and check-ups. We will consider formal and informal flexible working patterns and offer additional paid or unpaid leave.
Returning Back
We understand that returning to work after parental leave can be both exciting and daunting. At Switchee, we want to ensure a smooth transition for you. We offer flexibility options and encourage you to utilise our flexible working policy to discuss any particular arrangements that may better suit your needs as you re-enter the "office". Whether it's a phased return to work or reduced hours initially, we are here to accommodate where necessary to support your journey back. Our aim is to make you feel comfortable and at ease, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or require additional assistance during this transition period.
