Switchee's recruitment process kicks off with an intriguing twist. All CVs are anonymised, focusing solely on the candidates' skills and how well they match the job description (which by the way has been fully gender decoded to give us good access to a more diverse pool of candidates). It's like a resume without the fancy frills. Helps remove bias!
2. The phone tango βοΈ
Successful candidates engage in an elegant dance, known as the phone screening. Our application process allows you to provide more human information about yourself, such as your favourite movies, hobbies and funny one-liners, so you and the interviewer can establish a good bond from the start! It's all about assessing their grasp of the role, sort of like a quick foxtrot of job understanding. ππΌ
3. The double act π₯π₯
For those who make it through the phone screening, it's showtime! Candidates face a dual-part interview, where two team members meticulously evaluate their technical prowess. This helps us reduce bias and record candidate answers correctly, reducing any misunderstanding or memory gaps due to our multitasking brains.
4. Presentation and culture fit ππ€
The third act includes a presentation of skills, kind of like an audition, but with a work-related twist. Then comes the culture interview, where Switchee wants to ensure you can dance to their cultural rhythm as well as teach us some new moves. πΊ
