Role: FP&A Lead
Reporting to: Head of Finance
Location: This is a remote role, with some travel for limited company and head office gatherings.

Our goal is to perfect the ultimate connected hub for the social home. It’s going to revolutionise the way residents interact with their homes and landlords manage their properties.
Your responsibilities
This role is pivotal in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and leading a team of finance professionals. The successful candidate will be a key influencer and advisor to the senior leadership team, providing insights, analysis, and recommendations to drive revenue growth, cost optimisation, and operational efficiency. This role offers the chance to work predominantly remotely, whilst playing a crucial role in driving business performance and strategic decision-making during a pivotal period.

The role:
- Lead and improve the financial planning and forecasting process
- Ensure controls and reporting are implemented and maintained around SaaS revenue recognition and KPIs
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions and business case evaluations
- Assess the financial viability of new projects, evaluate potential risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to drive growth
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support long-term strategic planning, sensitivity analysis, and scenario planning (including pricing and profitability)
- Collaborate with other departments to understand and build a solution to their goals, challenges, and financial requirements
- Act as a trusted advisor to SLT, providing financial insights, guidance, and support in achieving their objectives
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve financial performance and operational efficiency
- Lead projects to identify, support and develop the financial requirements of other departments
- Lead, mentor, and develop FP&A Function (1 Direct, 2 Indirect Reports)
Experience/qualifications
We firmly believe extraordinary people can come from a wide range of places – but we wouldn’t be surprised if the person who gets this role has the following:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant PQE.
- Relevant experience building sophisticated financial models in a VC/ High Growth PE environment.
- Sound Knowledge of SaaS revenue and KPIs
- Ability to handle multiple priorities to meet demanding deadlines.
- Exceptional Stakeholder management at all levels
- Recent M&A experience (buy or sell side)
- Technically Astute, with knowledge of Sage X3, Power BI and Advanced Excel skills
